This simple to prepare recipe uses Kumquat from Miyazaki prefecture. You can enjoy it hot on a cold day or as a refreshing sparkling drink, on a hot summer day!
-Miyazaki Kinkan 10 pieces
– A teaspoon of salt
- Wash kumquat with salt and water.
- Slice the kumquat.
- Add honey and store the kumquat overnight in the fridge.
- You can enjoy the kumquat the way it is but mixing it with hot water or sparkling water is also good!
Hot honey kumquat: Mix with hot water (80ml) and honey kumquat (1/2 table spoon) & 1 table spoon of its liquid.
Sparkling kumquat: Mix with sparkling water (80ml) and honey kumquat (1/2 table spoon) & 1 table spoon of its liquid.
