Super Setsubun! Making own Ehomaki(Lucky Sushi Roll) and Mamemaki(Bean Scattering)

The popular event is back!

Celebrating Japanese Traditional & Seasonal Culture event, we’ll conduct “Super Setsubun” event includes beans scattering to the evils* “Mamemaki” and making lucky Sushi Roll “Ehomaki”.

Ticket Set A S$38: Ehomaki (Sushi) making, and soft drink.

Ticket B S$35: Beer or Wine and comes with Japanese Tapas.

What is Setsubun?

Setsubun is the day before the beginning of spring in Japan. The name literally means “seasonal division”, but usually the term refers to the spring Setsubun, properly called celebrated yearly on February 3 as part of the Spring Festival., In its association with the Lunar New Year, spring Setsubun can be and was previously thought of as a sort of New Year’s Eve, and so was accompanied by a special ritual to cleanse away all the evil of the former year and drive away disease-bringing evil spirits for the year to come. This special ritual is called mamemaki (literally “bean scattering”). –Quoted from Wikipedia.

Terms & Conditions

-The care givers who accompany to the kids also need tickets.

-The kids under 2 years old do not need the tickets.

-Kids over 12 years old can attend the class without caregivers. Please contact us at info@alchemist.sg if you any attendee want to have such arrangements.

-Copyright of photos and video shooting taken by Spoonful (Alchemist Pte Ltd) and its partners during the event will belong to Spoonful. Spoonful has the right to use the photos and video shooting for PR and marketing purpose.

-The event organizer “Spoonful (Alchemist Pte Ltd)” is not responsible for any personal food allergy. Each attendee must take his/her own responsibility for any allergy.

-Spoonful will notify 3 days prior the event day to all the attendees if the event has to be cancelled. (The event will be canceled if there is less than 10 attendees sing up.)

-There will be no refund unless the event itself is cancelled.

-Spoonful will send future events or promo info to attendees e-mail address after the event.

恵方巻作りは子供さんだけの参加の場合保護者の方は別におつまみセットをご用意しています。

Ticket B S$35:ビール又はワインとおつまみセット

付き添いの保護者の方もチケットが必要になります。　上記いずれかのセットからお選び下さい。

2歳未満のお子様の参加は無料となります。　この場合も保護者の方はチケットの購入が必要になります。　

12歳未満のお子様の参加には必ず保護者の同伴をお願いしております。

子供だけのご参加をご希望される場合は申込前ご連絡を下さい。　場合によってはお受けでないケースもございます。
