About The Class Theme

Autumn is the season for healthy appetites. A time to indulge in the harvest and nourish ourselves for the cold months ahead.

Come and learn “Sanma Fish*” one of the popular seasonal food that symbolisehearty autumn eating in Japan and homely dessert “Dorayaki”.

*Pacific saury, known as sanma in Japan, is the savory dish of autumn. (Partially quoted from JNTO page: )

16:00-16:30 Tasting and Q&A session

-Sanma Rice with Orange Juice (One of the best way to enjoy Sanma with simple method, must learn recipe)

-Sanma with Tomato Sauce (Fusion of Sanma Fish. Very best way to enjoy the Sanma)

-Dorayaki (Japanese pastry)

About the Instructor

Naomi taught home style Japanese cooking at her home studio and at major Japanese Cooking studio in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore. After working at popular Japanese restaurant in Singapore, she joined team Spoonful to be a Japanese cooking instructor. Now she enjoys teaching numerous fine, healthy home style cooking to Spoonful members!
